Role Overview:
Hamoon Construction Inc. is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Facilities Technician to join our team in Ontario, Canada. As a Facilities Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and ensuring the efficient operation of our facility’s various systems and equipment. If you possess expertise in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across multiple areas, we invite you to apply for this exciting position.
Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Secondary school education is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of previous maintenance experience is preferred.
- A journeyman/woman certificate in one or more trades or a building operator certificate may be required for building superintendents.
- Strong knowledge and experience in preventive maintenance and repairs across various facility systems.
- Familiarity with air conditioning, ventilation, heating, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and address common issues with facility equipment.
- Proficient in performing routine maintenance tasks such as painting, drywall repair, and general repairs.
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain inventory and make minor purchases.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Ability to respond promptly to residents’ requests for minor repairs and address them efficiently.
- Attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough inspections of building systems.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ensuring the security and safety of the establishment.
- Familiarity with leasing processes and tenant management (preferred for certain roles).
- Physical stamina to move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies (as required).
- Ability to supervise and coordinate the work of other workers (as required).
